When the new Laurentian Hospital is completed it will be the 4th largest hospital in Ontario and with our new medical school it will further solidify Sudbury’s position as the Regional Health Centre for North Eastern Ontario.
The most celebrated of Sudbury’s transformations is the focused effort at land reclamation. Since the late seventies, successes in land reclamation and rehabilitation of lakes has earned Sudbury international recognition for its environmental efforts.
